You will probably only ever use the verb costar in the third person singular and plural forms (talking about the prices of products). We will only practice with these two forms below.

3) costar (to cost)

      singular form (talking about the price of one item)
         

      plural form (talking about the price of plural items)

Write the translation. Don't forget to use correct capitalization, accents and punctuation, or the computer will mark it as incorrect.

1.   With a discount you save money.
           
      Put the verb in the tú form.
     

2.   The woman is looking for a gift.
           
      the woman = la mujer
     

3.   The man is spending a lot of money.
           
      the man = el hombre, a lot = mucho
     

4.   The wallet costs ten dollars.
           
     

5.   You can return the product with a receipt.
           
      Put the main verb in the tú form (puedes = you can).
     

6.   The cashier sells products in the store.
           
     

7.   I need to buy a gift with cash.
           
     

8.   I can't find my credit card.
           
     

9.   I need to exchange the size.
           
     

10.   The customer is paying with a check.
           
     

 


Writing

Write ten sentences using words that you learned on this page.
