Practice

Section 3
Translate the following sentences to briefly explain one aspect of each step. Refer back to the dialogue and vocabulary list if you forget how to say something. Don't use ellos for "they" in these sentences. Just put the verb in the correct form (the form that ends in a letter N). Remember that pronouns are often not used in Spanish if they are understood by the context. Don't forget to use correct capitalization, accents and punctuation, or the computer will mark it as incorrect.

1. The children throw one ball.

2. They catch the ball with the other hand.

3. They have one ball in each hand.

4. They use three balls.

5. They eventually juggle.

Dictation

Dictations are great for practicing listening and spelling in Spanish. Click on "Listen" to hear the dictation of a sentence. The sentence will be read once quickly and then repeated slowly with pauses to write the words. Write the sentence in the textbox. Click on "Check" to check your answer. Don't forget to use correct capitalization, accents and punctuation, or the computer will mark it as incorrect.
